As government lockdown restrictions ease, we’re happy to announce that, any member of staff who chooses to do so, can head back to their office!
While it’s a very exciting time seeing ourselves return to a new normal, we cannot stress enough that we’re not out of the woods yet.
Before we get ahead of ourselves, we’re approaching this situation with vigilance. We have implemented some ground rules to ensure covid-compliance as well as the safety, health and wellbeing of all our staff members.
Having consulted with healthcare professionals from Public Health England, we have decided that all returning staff must adhere to the following covid safety policies:
1. Masks or visors must be worn
All our returning office staff must wear masks throughout the day. Those who are medically exempt from wearing a mask must wear a visor.
2. Social distancing is in effect
Whenever possible, staff must try to remain 1.5 meters apart. We understand that this isn’t always practical in cramped office spaces, however, we’ve made steps within our offices to add additional space between desks to meet social distancing requirements.
3. Windows must be left open
We’re ensuring good ventilation across our offices. All windows must be kept open to allow for optimal airflow. As the weather turns chillier, we are advising all team members to bring a warm coat to work with them, just in case.
4. Proof of vaccination status
Scientific experts have given us a way of mitigating the tragic damage caused by the COVID-19 virus through the careful and stringent development of vaccines. We’re all in this together, and we believe that there is absolutely no excuse for someone to not do their part by getting fully vaccinated.
Vaccines save lives, which is why WCG staff must show proof of vaccination prior to returning to the office.
